Owing to his rambling thoughts about going to the sea, he broke loose to be a sailor against his parents will. He met a lot of difficulties on his sailing way, confronting a lot of a

11、dversity on this sailing way, even located on a lonely island for about twenty-eight years. But he never give up hope and created the splender of his life. Cai Ningnig has been told us that Tagore once said : “Where there is life there is hope. It is easy to see that hope is very important in life,

12、especially in adversity.”1 In the same adversity, one who loses his own belief once he runs into the adversity will be never successful, while one who will not give up easily will succeed after overcoming a lot of difficulties. Only if one has hope in his mind, and he never gives it up, will he be s

13、uccessful at last. Robinson Crusoe never give up his hope when he met a lot of adversity on his way to sailing. So he finally succeeded and created the splender of his life. He lived alone there for about four years; he was finally saved by a famous sailor and was taken home in 1771.5 The event h

What he advocated was not to satisfy with annoyance, but to develop, to work and to attain something through your effort. We can see the tradition of weste

Robinson Crusoe, who was the protagonist of The Life and Strange Surprising Adventures of Robinson Crusoe, was a person of stubborn, aggressive and firm.

He became a slave in the coast of Africa because of the attack by a group of pirates, but he later escaped there for that he can not bear the hard life,

35、ife on the island is the most arduous one of all. And exeperience of living on the island can show best his spitits. All his life experience can also indicate it. His father wanted him to study law and become a lawyer in the future. But robinson want to take risk when he was very young.8 In order to live a freedom and happy lif

37、e, he gave up his comfortable life, and a big amount of properties which his parents left for him and went out for sailing, living his own life when he was just 18 yeas old. On his way of pursuit his life, he met a lot of difficulties. His first time to go out for sailing made him own his own compan

At the second time, his thought promoted him to go out to Hull, and met one of his friends, who persuaded him to go to London, so he suffered the first storm in the sea. At this time, he wanted to go home very much and felt regret that he didnt follow his paren

39、ts words, but when the sea calmed down, he forgot the fear and worry and this also led to his third time of sailing. At the third time, because of a heavy storm of the sea, he was located in the lonely and deserted island. He gave up his comfort life and went out for his own dream; he was never afra

40、id of adventure though he failed several times and nearly lost his life in such kind of adventure but still went for his own dream and lives for his own life. His adventurous experiences show his adventurer spirit. His spirit of never giving up his dream, defeating all kinds of hardships shows his s

41、pirit of Pursuiting. 2.2 The Creative and Enterprising Spirit In the third time of going for sailing, Robinson Crusoe met the most terrible storm that he has never met before. In this times sailing , the storm never stopped for about several days. They have fourteen people in the boat but one died i

42、n desease, and two bring away by the sea. Only lefted eleven person in the ship. Unfortunately the big ship was sinked by the big wave. Except Robinson Crusoe, no one survived. The big wave sends Robinson to a lonely and deserted island. In this island, Robinson spends his 28 yeas life. He has nothi

43、ng but he never give up and try his best to build a better life. On this island life shows Robinsons create and pursuit spirit. However this spirit shows in the following two sides: his attitudes towards the adversity reflected from his twenty-eight years life on the island and his actions towards d

44、ifficulty.2.2.1 Robinsons Attitudes Towards the Adversity When the adversity comes, is he happy? No. Just as he said, he had a dismal prospect of his condition. It is easy to see that Robinson also felt miserable. Though the adversity came unexpectedly, and Robinson also complained about his conditi

When he felt miserable about his condition, he thought of his companions misfortunes. He u

There is no doubt that Robinson lost many things, such as
