And my content consists of 6 parts, they are: analysis of the teaching material, analysis of the students, teaching and study methods, the teaching procedur
2、es, the blackboard design, and self-assessment. 1. This lesson is a reading passage, which plays a very important role in this unit, we should lay particular emphasis on the students reading ability. It focuses on the students abilities to gather information; deal with information; solve problems an
3、d the abilities to think and express in English. By studying At the same time, we should get the students to understand some difficult sentences to comprehend the passage better. The students will do some listening, speaking, reading and writing, too.2. Now Ill talk about my teaching aims of this pe
4、riod.According to the new curriculum standard, the teaching aims are divided into 3 parts:Knowledge aims: are to enable the students to master some usefulAbility aims: are to develop the students reading ability and let them Emotional aims: are to develop students interest in study and set up 3. In
5、the teaching process, teacher should help students master the important points and break through the difficult points as follows:Teaching important point: is to improve the students reading ability. Teaching difficult points: are to help Ss understand the text better and use the learned phrases to r
6、etell the text.The Ss in my class have known something about the topic, because they have talked about it in the previous period. But some long sentences are difficult for them to understand. They dont often use English to express themselves and communicate with others. Some students are not active
7、in class because some are afraid of making mistakes while speaking. So during the lesson, Ill arrange a variety of activities to let all the students join in class to attract their attention and make them confident. Teaching methods includes:Task-based approach, communicative language teaching and i
8、nteractive approach.Study methods:And I will adopt cooperative learning; communicative learning; and participative learning methods.Ill make full use of modern equipment such as the multi-media to make my lesson more lively and interesting. With the aid of the computer, I think theefficiency of the
9、lesson will be greatly improved. Here comes the most important part, the teaching procedures:I have designed the following steps to train the students ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing, especially reading ability.Step1. Lead-inThrough this activity I can arouse the students interes
10、t of study and bring in new subject.Step2. While-readingTask1: Guessing and skimmingIll get the students to look at the title and the pictures and guess what the text might be about. It draws the students attention to the content of the text.Ask the students to read the passage as quickly as they ca
11、n and get the structure of the text. Guide the students to find out key words and sentences or pay attention to the first sentences of each paragraph to get the main idea of the text.By doing this, I will train the students fast reading skills to improve the students reading ability and let the stud
12、ents understand the general idea of each paragraph.Task2: Intensive readingThe students are required to focus on the whole text paragraph by paragraph to locate particular information and finish the exercises on the screen.These exercises are mainly sentence judgments, choices about the text. They a
13、re designed from the easiest one to the most difficult one for different levels Ss. The purpose is to train the students skills of scanning and to lead the students to find out the important facts and detailed information.Ill ask the students to finish the exercises by cooperation and competition. T
14、hey are divided into 4 groups. If a student can answer the question correctly, then the group can get one point. And the group which gets the most points is the winner. Only through cooperation can the Ss taste the joy of success. If the Ss know their answer is right, they will be confident and beco
15、me more enthusiastic in learning English. The purpose is to improve the students reading comprehension. And at the same time the students can become aware of the happiness of helping each other. Thus the students receive some moral education.Step3. Post-readingTask2: ListeningPlay the tape of the pa
16、ssage for the students to listen and follow. Then ask them to read the text aloud. Tell them to pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. At the same time, they can enjoy the beauty of the English language. And it can prepare the students for the retelling the text in the next task.Task3: S
17、ummary and retellingI will let them fill in the blank to summarize the general idea of the text. And then ask the students to retell the story in their own words. This is designed to apply what they have learnt into practice, thus transforms the language knowledge into ability by using English.Black
18、board designThe title is on the top of the blackboard. The blackboard is divided into 2 parts: the left part is for some key words and expressions, while the right part is for the screen.In this lesson, I lead the students understand the passage step by step, and help them to retell the text. In the
19、 whole period I just act as a director, put Ss into center, giving the students some detailed task and letting the students explore the knowledge by themselves or in teamwork. But there are some newlanguage points in the passage, so I will explain them for the students next period.Thank you for list
20、ening.必修5unit1说课稿二Book5unit1Great scientists说课稿教材分析本单元主要话题是Great scientists, 旨在通过本单元的教学培养学生探究科学、崇尚科学的精神和正确的科学观;帮助学生了解科学的本质和科学家的特质。由于是科普文章,相对来说比较枯燥,所以我们需要把教材内容简化并进行重组。根据“三课型一学案”的原则,我们将Warming Up,Pre-reading, Reading和Comprehending三部分整合为一节“阅读课”。今天我主要就对这一部分进行简要的阐述。教学重难点:阅读能力对英语学习者来说是至关重要的,所以本节课的教学重点就是让学
21、生学会不同的阅读技巧并且让学生通过本节的学习了解John Snow 是怎样战胜“霍乱”这种疾病的;难点是让学生能自己描述伟大的科学家及其相关事迹。教学目标:1. 知识目标:使学生了解一些著名的科学家及他们的主要贡献并通过阅读知道John Snow 是怎样战胜“霍乱”的。2. 能力目标:培养学生不同的阅读技巧并使他们能介绍一些伟大的科学家。3. 情感目标:激发学生尊重热爱伟大的科学家,学习他们的高尚道德品质。教学过程分析:根据教学目标以及教学重难点,我们把这节课分为七个步骤。一、 导入通过大屏幕给学生展示一些伟大科学家的图片,比如牛顿、霍金、爱因斯坦、钱学森等,让学生通过讨论了解他们的主要贡献以
22、及他们的优秀品质。通过这一环节自然而然的就过度到本单元的话题Great scientist.二、热身让学生两个人一组通过讨论来完成课本第一页的小测试,比比哪一组知道的多,这样可以极大提高学生的兴趣,让他们每个人都积极参与到课堂活动中来。三、读前在大屏幕上呈现两个问题。通过回答这两个问题可以使学生对课文有一个初步的了解和预测,这有助于发散学生的思维,也很好地为下一个环节做了铺垫。四、阅读1. 通过略读(skimming)让学生找出文章的大意。2. 在大屏幕上展示五道涉及文章细节的选择题,通过查读(scanning)让学生找出这五道题的答案。3. 给学生展示三个任务,一是填写表格,二是回答问题,三
23、是填空来训练学生细读(careful reading)的能力。这一环节主要使用任务型教学法,旨在通过多种不同类型的练习从不同的层面训练学生略读、查读、细读等阅读技巧。五、巩固老师在黑板上写一些关键词,让学生复述课文。每个学生只说一句话,这样我们可以激发学生的兴趣,让更多的学生参与到课堂活动中。六、讨论。给出问题:近些年一直存在着像“非典”、“艾滋”、“猪流感”等各种各样的传染病,作为一名学生我们可以做些什么?让学生四个人一组讨论,在时间允许的情况下找尽可能多的学生到讲台上阐述自己的观点。这个环节的设计有助于培养学生的情感态度与价值观。七、作业重读课文,写一篇关于John Snow 如何战胜“霍
24、乱”的文章。最后,我想说一下我的这节课是怎样体现新课改的理念的。前两个环节的设计激发了学生的学习兴趣。新课改提倡的“任务型教学法”在这节课中多次用到。小组讨论等形式充分体现了“自主、合作、探究”的精神,把更多的时间还给学生。另外,讨论环节在一定程度上培养了学生的情感态度和价值观。因此,通过这节课的学习,学生不仅能学到该掌握的知识,训练了他们的阅读技能,更重要的是,他们可以体会到学习的乐趣 必修5unit1说课稿三Good afternoon, distinguished judges.
