In spite of his parents advice, he left home; even though their parents had left a substantial amount of properties, in the lonely island that lack basic needs, he has overcome loneliness and unimaginable difficulties with his tenacious amazing persever

3、ance and he finally survived, and he also continued to struggle for the future. He is a person who can abandon his comfortable life for the dream. From this we can see that Robinson Crusoe is a person with pursuiting, creative and enterprising spirit. At the 24th year when he stayed on the island, h

4、e rescued a wild man, and in the following days, he also saved the Savages father at his own risk, and rescued a number of strangers. He has the spirit of thank- kindness.Nowadays, people live in a better society. Nobody would have the same experiences as Robinson, but people may come across some di

10、haracter by daniel Defoe. Robinson Crusoes life is full of legends. He was born in a good family in the city of York. Owing to his rambling thoughts about going to the sea, he broke loose to be a sailor against his parents will. He met a lot of difficulties on his sailing way, confronting a lot of a

11、dversity on this sailing way, even located on a lonely island for about twenty-eight years. But he never give up hope and created the splender of his life. Cai Ningnig has been told us that Tagore once said : “Where there is life there is hope. It is easy to see that hope is very important in life,

12、especially in adversity.”1 In the same adversity, one who loses his own belief once he runs into the adversity will be never successful, while one who will not give up easily will succeed after overcoming a lot of difficulties. Only if one has hope in his mind, and he never gives it up, will he be s

13、uccessful at last. Robinson Crusoe never give up his hope when he met a lot of adversity on his way to sailing. So he finally succeeded and created the splender of his life. Under such an adverse circumstance, he overcame various difficulties and created splendor of his life.1.1 The Introduction of the AuthorThe author of Robinson Crusoe, Daniel Defoe was born in a good c

24、ommercial family in 1660, in London.4 He was once a businessman, who ran the enterprise of underclothes, cigarettes and wine trade, he had lived through some difficulties, but he could save his enterprise every time after his failure, meanwhile, he showed us his stable determination to fight against

25、 his fate. He could not be destroyed. All of those experiences paved the way of thought and technique of the accomplishment of his masterpiece Robinson Crusoe. That is, the success of Robinson Crusoe is not occasional. It is said that besides Bible, Robinson Crusoe is the most published book. Today,

It is a mirror of that world.1.2 The Introduction of the Brief ContentRobinson Crusoe was written under the enlightenment of a real story in the 18th century. A Scottish seafaring man in

27、Britain ship named Alengzander slake clashed against his captain, and was deserted in an isolated island, which had the distance of 500 meters far away from the coast of Chile. He lived alone there for about four years; he was finally saved by a famous sailor and was taken home in 1771.5 The event h

28、ad evoked great interesting in the Europe. Robinson Crusoe, who was created by Daniel Defoe, was a representative of bourgeoisie, an ideal hero. What he advocated was not to satisfy with annoyance, but to develop, to work and to attain something through your effort. We can see the tradition of weste

29、rn civilization from him and his adventure spirit. The works praises peoples work spirit. The fiction opens up the way of English realism fiction. Robinson Crusoe, who was the protagonist of The Life and Strange Surprising Adventures of Robinson Crusoe, was a person of stubborn, aggressive and firm.

30、 Because of his decision to go out to see the outside world and know it, he finally went out to be a sailor without the concession of his parents. He became a slave in the coast of Africa because of the attack by a group of pirates, but he later escaped there for that he can not bear the hard life,

But he was not satisfied with such property and designed to his dream to be on the way to sell slaves in Africa when somebody advised him to do so. Just because of it, he was flowed to an isol

32、ated island and was reduced to a lonely man without any company. Thank goodness, there were so much food, clothes and tools left in the ship which was wrecked on the coast. He could still be alive for those materials. During the period, Bible was his spirit support, he built house, got rice, tamed s

33、heep and made leather clothes by the fur of animals. After twenty eight years, he was saved by an English ship to England.62. Spirits of Robinson Crusoe“The novel has a big reflection in England and European. The most success point of this novel is create Robinson Crusoe such a huge hero which is fu

Ronbinsons life is full of various adversities, and especially his twenty eight years l

35、ife on the island is the most arduous one of all. And exeperience of living on the island can show best his spitits. All his life experience can also indicate it. He has the spirit of adventure and pursuit, the spirit of creat and enterprising, including the spirit of think-kindness.7 Most of his sp

36、irits worth us to study and learn.2.1 Adventuring and Pursuiting SpiritRobinson Crusoe was born in a good family in the city of York. His father wanted him to study law and become a lawyer in the future. But robinson want to take risk when he was very young.8 In order to live a freedom and happy lif

37、e, he gave up his comfortable life, and a big amount of properties which his parents left for him and went out for sailing, living his own life when he was just 18 yeas old. On his way of pursuit his life, he met a lot of difficulties. His first time to go out for sailing made him own his own compan

At the second time, his thought promoted him to go out to Hull, and met one of his friends, who persuaded him to go to London, so he suffered the first storm in the sea. At this time, he wanted to go home very much and felt regret that he didnt follow his paren

39、ts words, but when the sea calmed down, he forgot the fear and worry and this also led to his third time of sailing. At the third time, because of a heavy storm of the sea, he was located in the lonely and deserted island. He gave up his comfort life and went out for his own dream; he was never afra

40、id of adventure though he failed several times and nearly lost his life in such kind of adventure but still went for his own dream and lives for his own life. His adventurous experiences show his adventurer spirit. His spirit of never giving up his dream, defeating all kinds of hardships shows his s

41、pirit of Pursuiting. 2.2 The Creative and Enterprising Spirit In the third time of going for sailing, Robinson Crusoe met the most terrible storm that he has never met before. In this times sailing , the storm never stopped for about several days. They have fourteen people in the boat but one died i

42、n desease, and two bring away by the sea. Only lefted eleven person in the ship. Unfortunately the big ship was sinked by the big wave. Except Robinson Crusoe, no one survived. The big wave sends Robinson to a lonely and deserted island. In this island, Robinson spends his 28 yeas life. He has nothi

43、ng but he never give up and try his best to build a better life. On this island life shows Robinsons create and pursuit spirit. However this spirit shows in the following two sides: his attitudes towards the adversity reflected from his twenty-eight years life on the island and his actions towards d

44、ifficulty.2.2.1 Robinsons Attitudes Towards the Adversity When the adversity comes, is he happy? No. Just as he said, he had a dismal prospect of his condition. It is easy to see that Robinson also felt miserable. Though the adversity came unexpectedly, and Robinson also complained about his conditi

45、on in the beginning, he can convert his thought to another one:But something always returned swift upon me to check these thoughts, and to reprove me; and particularly one day, walking with my gun in my hand by the seaside, I was very pensive upon the subject of my present condition, when Reason, as

46、 it were, expostulated with me tother way, thus: “Well, you are in a desolate condition, this true, but pray remember, where are the rest of you? Did not you come eleven of you into the boat? Where are the ten? Why were not they saved and you lost? Why were you singled out? Is it better to be here,

All evils are to be considered with the good that is in them and with what worse attends them.9 It is his transposing thoughts that changed his attitudes towards life. When he felt miserable about his condition, he thought of his companions misfortunes. He u

There is no doubt that Robinson lost many things, such as
